Heiress Iris gave up her family fortune to marry Dorian, a poor average-joe. Three years later, she's about to welcome her first child, when suddenly, her crazy control-freak mother-in-law (Tessa) insists the hospital she's staying at is too expensive. Tessa manages to convince Dorian that they should switch to a cheaper hospital. Dorian, being a spineless mama's boy, gives in to all of Tessa's demands and starts bullying Iris too.
